Our Mission

St John’s is a Church of England parish in the Catholic tradition and is a place of worship and encounter for all who seek God, whatever their tradition or back ground.

We offer different types of services to cater for all needs from the Mass (also called the Eucharist or Holy Communion) in both modern and traditional language.

There is a Family Service at 11:30am on each Sunday with Children’s and Family Eucharist every 2nd Sunday .

Sunday Club for the younger children meets  on the  4th Sunday during the 10am service in the Hall for their own teaching and a range of creative and fun activities before joining the congregation for Holy Communion. We are an active and growing congregation, you are assured of a warm welcome.

Safeguarding Training

C0 training module is suitable for all individuals within our Church communities who need to have a basic awareness of safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We recommend that the parents of children who attend St John’s church complete C0 module.
